What's going to happen to GGOC?
After considering my original goals--(which was to create a place where Christian girls could nurture each other spiritually and to create a kind of sisterhood)--I have made the decision to close GGOC on DeviantART.

It has been open and dormant for more than six months. Understandably, no one was submitting artwork anymore because no one was online to post them. It's not that GGOC can't be revived, but if our purpose is not to share art, this is not the right place for us anyway.

Why Facebook?
Facebook is a social site, which would be perfect for a social club, wouldn't you agree? If we're also going to reach out to the online community, we should be where the people are!

What would we do there?
It would just be like any other fan group. There would be a forum for discussions, a place for general talk, etc, and anyone could join (if we chose to make that option available). Since most people are already on facebook, it wouldn't mean signing up for anything new.

What do you think?
Are you willing to move with us if we go in that direction? It's still on the table right now. When we know for sure that we're going to move there, we'll send you all a private note, since some may not get our journals.

Why not myspace too?
To be honest, I've never been particularly interested in joining myspace on my own. There's no way I could admin both groups anyway. (Yes, you heard right. I may be able to be involved in this)!
